One platform. Context for many decisions.

Armis Centrix is a cyber exposure management platform. It brings together information about IT, OT, IoT and other cyber-physical assets with vulnerability, behaviour and operational context. Teams can assess risk at asset level rather than considering each alert in isolation.

The platform is relevant to organisations with distributed infrastructure, unmanaged devices or environments where agent installation is constrained. Individual Centrix products address different tasks; their scope should be matched to the problem and available data sources.

From information
to action.

Asset visibility

Asset Management and Security connects asset data, classification and relationships. It helps identify inventory gaps and enrich existing records.

OT and IoT security

OT/IoT Security provides device and industrial communication context. SaaS and On-Prem variants address different architectural requirements.

Vulnerabilities and remediation

VMDR supports vulnerability discovery and exposure validation. VIPR Pro consolidates tool findings, prioritises them and coordinates remediation workflows.

How to start?

  1. Define scope: IT/OT segments, device types, data sources and data processing requirements.
  2. Choose data collection methods: API integrations, network telemetry and any selective queries.
  3. Validate results against agreed criteria: identification quality, risk context and usefulness to teams.

Requirements and limitations

Agentless does not mean that every mechanism is entirely passive. Querying, integrations and deployment options must be agreed with environment owners. Armis can enrich a CMDB and existing processes; it does not automatically replace every security tool or operational decision.

Asset profile

  • Device type
  • Communications
  • Owner: to establish

The team compares inventory records with network data and discovers a device without an assigned owner.

From a profile to the next step

  1. Device profile

Validate the device type and available technical data.

  2. Communications and vulnerabilities

    Connect observations with risk context.

  3. Owner and action

Establish who will review the risk and which next step is permissible.

Your questions.
Clear answers.

How do VMDR and VIPR Pro differ?

VMDR focuses on vulnerability discovery and validation of exposure in asset context. VIPR Pro collects findings from multiple tools, normalises and prioritises them, and supports remediation coordination. The choice depends on data sources and the processes an organisation wants to improve.

Does Armis require agents on OT devices?

OT visibility can use network traffic analysis and integrations without installing an agent on the device. Additional information may require selective queries. Coverage should be checked for the specific devices and protocols.

Is an On-Prem option available?

Armis describes an On-Prem option for OT/IoT Security, including isolated environments. This does not imply that every Centrix product has identical availability in every model. Architecture and requirements need separate validation.

Does Armis automatically install patches?

Prioritising and coordinating remediation tasks is different from installing patches. Execution depends on integrations, permissions, tools and approved organisational procedures.
